apa hotel tokyo itabashi ekimae was super convenient for our family trip. just one stop from ikebukuro, so easy to explore the city! the beds were really cosy, and the nearby late-night shops saved us after long days out. also, great to have free wifi and laundry services available.

The rooms are compact, especially without adequate drawers-just hooks and limited closet space. Some rooms lack individual air conditioning adjustments, which can lead to uncomfortably warm nights, especially in summer. For instance, the lowest thermostat setting is 20 degrees Celsius. When seeking extra linens, there’s a chance your requests may not be fulfilled consistently. Despite having a TV, the English movie options are almost nonexistent as they are dubbed without subtitles, which can be quite frustrating for non-Japanese speakers.

I had an amazing time here with my friends! We visited Ikebukuro and Shinjuku, and it was super convenient to get there. The place was clean, beds were comfy, and the staff was really friendly. Don't forget to check out the local restaurants nearby for great food options.
